Tuesday, February 24 – Kellogg Event The Kellogg Alumni of Sydney invite you to attend a cocktail function with guest speaker Professor Victoria Medvec. When :5:15pm for 5:30pm until 6:30pm Tuesday 24 February 2009 Prof. Medvec is in Sydney to give a three-hour keynote presentation at the Business Connect National Growth Summit & Expo. Victoria Medvec was educated at Bucknell University and gained her PhD from Cornell before joining the faculty at Kellogg in 1995. Since 2004 she has been the Adeline Barry Davee Professor of Management and Organizations. Her research and teaching in organisational behaviour focuses on judgement and decision making. She consults on critical decisions and negotiations to multi-national corporations. In the current economic climate the balance of activity across M&A activity, partnership agreements, supplier and customer contracts may have shifted, but the value of well thought negotiation strategy remains. From 1994 to 1997, he was also Chairman of the Indicative Planning Council, which advised the Government on matters relating to the housing industry. Previously he worked in the Treasury, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and for a leading economic consulting firm in the United States. Chris makes economics understandable and relevant, injecting humour into every presentation.
